Our club is run entirely by the help of our wonderful volunteers. Without the assistance of many parents/carers & grandparents our club would not exist. We greatly appreciate the help of everyone that pitches in, but also ask other members of the St George community to help wherever possible.
There are many simple tasks (and also more challenging tasks) that we would love help with, such as:
- Timekeeping
- Helping with the BBQ
- Join the media team
- Assisting with fundraising
- Assisting with the media store
- Assisting with large events
- Join the committee
- Learn an official role through Swimming NSW (such as official time keeper, marshal, check starter, starter, technical operator, judge of strokes, referee)
- And a variety of other tasks
Volunteering is the heart of our club and the best way to get to know people and make new friends. Keep an eye out for emails from our race secretaries, secretary and president for upcoming volunteering needs.
